APPLICATIONS AND TECHNOLOGIES
Choosing the right product and technology for individual reservoirs and applying it at the right time is extremely important in maximizing oil recovery. ZL was established in 1995, with a strong focus in polyacrylamide R&D and manufacturing for enhanced oil recovery industry. We use our expertise and on-site experiences to help our customers evaluate the reservoir characteristics to design the most cost effective program. Our lab work, pilot testing and application methodology will help bring success to full field implementation.
In order to fracture shale formations effectively, large volumes of water are required to be pumped into wall frac operations, at very high pressures in short periods of time. Frac water is treated with friction reducers (FR) to reduce the loss of pressure from frictional forces during the operation. The friction reducers are high molecular weight polymeric additives, designed to enhance the water displacement in oil wells by considerably reducing the friction pressure experienced during the drilling process.

Dry On The Fly
The CPDU®Compact Polymer Dispersion Unit is designed for polymer flooding, offshore polymer flooding, and Hydraulic fracturing application. It is applied with dry polymers, also known as "dry on the fly" unit.
ZL's "Dry on the Fly" unit provides our customers with trouble free solutions with features including accurate dosing rates, low maintenance and easy to operate.
WATER FLOODING CONFORMANCE CONTROL
Water flooding is a secondary recovery process to displace oil that has not been recovered by the primary recovery method. Water flood technology is often associated with a problem of unwanted water production resulting from unfavorable displacement, caused by water channeling through high-permeable layers. The existence of high-permeability zones (thief zones) can cause early water breakthrough and excessive water production, thus, leaving a significant amount of oil bypassed in heterogeneous reservoirs.
ZL's conformance control technology consists of several different technique to help our customers addressing their water breakthrough issues.
